From Conviction to Action

Faith Alive Ministries was founded in 2021 by husband and wife, Taylor and Jordan Whitley. Like many believers, they experienced a deep, biblical conviction that being a “Sunday-morning-Christian” wasn’t enough. Christ calls His church to put faith into action.

What began as a personal desire to live their faith out loud quickly transformed into a recognized 501(c)(3) organization. Their initial efforts focused entirely on international outreach, partnering with orphanages in South Asia.

However, as they faithfully stepped into that calling, the ministry’s vision rapidly expanded to meet the pressing needs of both widows and orphans right here at home, as well as across the globe.

The Commands that Drive Us

We operate under two core convictions rooted firmly in the Word of God. We believe that true, saving faith naturally produces a lifestyle of obedience, and that the local church is commanded to care for the most vulnerable.

Our Response: We are inspired to be a people of action. We equip believers to step out of their comfort zones and demonstrate the love of Christ through tangible, practical service.

Our Response: We treat this as a clear command. Our resources, time, and global partnerships are dedicated to bringing physical relief and the hope of the Gospel to widows and orphans.

Faithful Stewardship

Honoring God means maintaining absolute integrity with the resources and the mission He has entrusted to us.

Today, the daily operations of Faith Alive Ministries are carried out by a dedicated team of three full-time and two part-time staff members. To ensure biblical accountability, financial transparency, and strategic oversight, we are governed by a Board of Directors. Made up of mature, local believers, this board meets bimonthly to oversee the direction of the ministry and ensure we remain entirely focused on our James 1:27 mandate.
